As a favorite of visitors and locals alike, Copper Mountain is thrilled for all it has in store to offer guests this winter!
Starting February 6th, Copper Mountain will host the Dew Tour, an innovative contest series featuring the world’s top skiers and snowboarders. Athletes will show off their creativity and style in competitions include slopestyle, modified superpipe, and a team challenge. The Dew Tour is free to attend, including live concerts, sponsorship village, athlete meet and greet, and more! Schedule of events and optional VIP packages are available. Get up close and personal with pro- and Olympic athletes like Alex Ferreira, Jamie Anderson, Arielle Gold, Red Gerard (a local favorite who almost missed his chance at the 2018 Olympics before bringing home gold), and more at Copper Mountain!
Want to explore more of the mountain? Well, now you can. What was previously only accessible via snowcat or hiking, the 273 acres of Tucker Mountain can now be accessed via Three Bears Lift, open for the 2019-2020 season. Known as some of the best expert terrains at any Colorado ski resort, Tucker Mountain peaks at 12,337 feet, services double black diamonds (the most expert terrain), and the views are out of this world. Construction for the summit warming hut and lift operations began this summer, with much of the materials being flown in via helicopter. Cables and chairs were added in October, just in time for the snow to arrive. Tucker Mountain has quickly become a favorite of expert skiers and riders, no longer a hidden secret along a 20-minute snowcat ride.
Perfect for all ski levels and apres-ski lovers, Copper Mountain really has it all this season! Book your lodging with River Ridge Rentals and see what Copper has for you!
