Copper Mountain closes out the season with live music and the Red Bull Slopesoakers – a twist on the traditional pond skim where competitors attempt to hit floating rails before diving into the chilly waters. Keystone’s projected closing date may be the earliest – April 8th – but that only means the mountain is anxious to get to its summer activities! Arapahoe Basin is known for its party attitude but one thing it does take seriously: being the last resort still standing. With enough snow, Arapahoe Basin’s season typically runs well into June and often into July with their latest closing date reaching to August 10 in 1995! This year’s projected closing date is June 2nd, although all signs point to at least a few weeks longer.
