Spring skiing is here and the best place to get in some sunny turns on great snow is Arapahoe Basin. Consistently the last mountain on the I-70 corridor to close, A-Basin’s lifts are known to turn until the last of the snow is really gone. Partying hard straight to the end, spring at A-Basin is filled with great terrain, soft snow sunshine, music and one of the best Bloody Mary’s this side of the Continental Divide!
If you plan to ski or ride for more than a few days, pick up an A-Basin Spring Pass. No blackout dates through June 3rd (tentative scheduled closing dates), unlimited discounted single-day lift tickets for friends and family, savings on food and beverage, purchases at Arapahoe Sports and ski or snowboard tunes at the Crystal One Base’n’ Edge Tune Shop.
With all of their lifts running and 85% of the terrain open, A-Basin is ready for any and all skill levels. Lessons can be booked through the end of the season (with beginner trails staying open until the official end) while experts can explore the newly opened Beavers or adventure out to the backside of the mountain to take in Montezuma Bowl. Wherever you are on the mountain, Arapahoe Basin’s views of the Continental Divide and more are simply stunning in the springtime sunshine! Make sure to bring your sunblock!
Ask anyone and they’ll tell you Arapahoe Basin knows how to party. May 5th, 2018 kicks off their Shakin’ at the Basin Spring Concert Series with King Cardinal. Family-friendly and always a good time, free music reigns over the plaza starting at 1pm.
If jammin’ in the lift line doesn’t get you going, the 3rd Annual Swimwear Day and Spring Rail Jam will! On Saturday, May 12th, stop by the A-Basin tent to show off your swimwear style (family-friendly) for a chance to win great prizes!
Not the snow-sliding type? Head to the 6th Alley Bar and Grill! Find out why A-Basin’s Bacon Bloody Mary has a cult-like following and is continuously voted the best Bloody Mary year after year – you won’t be disappointed. Choose from over 20 taps if that’s not your style, or select from their wine or cocktails list. Grab a seat on the deck, bask in the sunshine and watch your friends and family cruise down the hill!
Winter may be over and spring headed out but the party still rocks at Arapahoe Basin!
