Summer in Summit County is just as lively as when the snow is flying and Copper Mountain is no exception. Enjoy activities on the mountain and in the village – racing on Summit County’s only go-kart track, attempt the climbing wall or get a hole in one at mini golf. Copper Mountain has fun for all ages, all summer long!
Start the day off with a scenic chairlift ride, rising 11,375 feet above sea level and explore the mountaintop and amazing views of the Ten Mile Range. Choose to hike back down the mountain or simply hop back on the chairlift.
Looking for a little more thrill? Copper will haul you and bike to the top of the American Eagle Lift where you can choose between easy, intermediate and advanced terrain. Don’t have a bike? No problem. Copper Rocker Bike Rentals features bikes for an intense downhill ride, a cruise around town or anywhere in-between. Offering bike rentals for all ages and experience levels, including full suspension bikes, helmets, storage and maintenance.
Continue the thrill-seeking by racing your friends and family at Summit County’s only go-kart track, flip for the bungee jump, or soar over West Lake on the Alpine Rush Zip Line – traveling 300 feet across the lake and up to 30 mph. Scale the largest outdoor climbing wall in Colorado with routes available for all skill levels.
If you’re looking to slow things down and move at a slower pace, practice your putt at the nine holes of mini golf or explore West Lake on a bumper boat. Copper also has one of the highest rated disc golf courses, playing up and around the mountain for incredible views and challenging terrain.
Having winter withdrawals? Copper is one of the few places that has snow year round and offers on snow (and on ski) activities in the Big Island Terrain Park. Limited spots are available so book yours before visiting.
Copper Mountain doesn’t slow down when the snow stops flying, why should you?
