If Summit County is Colorado’s playground, then Frisco Adventure Park is at the heart of it. Offering everything from sleigh rides to skiing, Frisco Adventure Park will be hours of fun for all ages.
Known for it’s Tubing Hill, the park offers a 1,200 foot run, divided into multiple lanes and a magic carpet to bring you back up the hill – no hiking back up the hill! Tubes are available and included in pricing. Reservations are recommended and required on weekends and holidays.
If you’re interested in learning to ski or ride, Frisco Adventure Park has paired with Copper Mountain to offer first-timer ski and ride lessons for ages 8 and up. Learn with other beginners or alone – just make sure to make a reservation ahead of time. Equipment rental is not included.
Steps from the tubing and beginner ski/ride hill, Frisco Nordic Center offers over 27k of ski trails and 20k of snowshoe trails – that’s nearly 30 miles of high altitude trails offering exceptional views in every direction. Competitions are hosted throughout the season for all skill levels, including the Frisco Cup Ski Races and the Inaugural Frisco Freeze Fat Bike Race. Rentals, lesson and ski tuning available 7 days a week, reservations are recommended.
Tumble, bounce and smash other tumblers in human-sized plastic hamster balls or knock down 12-foot bowling pins with Tumble Bubbles! Roll and slide on the snow at the base of the tubing hill – this is an experience like no other!
For the more traditional, the public sledding hill is open from 9:00 am to dusk every day, no reservations required.
End the day with a scenic sleigh ride from Two Below Zero Sleigh Rides. Enjoy the family-friendly Scenic Hot Cocoa Ride that includes a 1-hour ride to a remote forested setting where you will enjoy hot cocoa (with or without peppermint schnapps), fresh baked cookies and live music. Looking for a more unique experience? Dinner Sleigh Rides offer a 2 ½ hour adventure including a 3-course dinner and live music. Those looking for a more romantic experience can book a private sleigh ride – a 45-minute adventure carrying passengers (up to 4 people) in a small, intimate sleigh to a remote location for hot cocoa (peppermint schnapps optional.) Reservations are required.
Spend the day on the fast track on the tubing hill or taking it all in at a slower pace on the snowshoe trails – just make sure to make Frisco Adventure Park a part of your Summit County experience!
