This home was perfectly located, just a short walk from peak 8. The home is beautiful with a very well stocked kitchen making meals very easy. The outdoor gas grill was an additional bonus as well as the outside hot tub. If we come back to Breck we would try to rent it again.

The house is excellent It only need a Little manteinance in the bathrooms. It is a beautifull house. The One of 4 befa the bathroom is so tiny bit overall a good experience and a good comunication

Aunts, uncles, and cousins stayed in this lovely home. Layout of bedrooms/baths was perfect for our group. Kitchen amenities were appreciated - we had everything needed! Location was great for skiiers and non-skiiers. Close to the bus and gondola, walkable to the ski area. My husband and i dont ski, but took the free ride bus to the gondola down to main street each day to explore. Others skiied and loved that it was so close .

Fabulous house. Wonderful hot tub. Perfect place for our family of eleven. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Is not ski-in ski-out location.

Great Home. I’d start by say the management company was the most responsive company we’ve ever had on any rentals. The few things that needed physical attention were quickly handled. 3 super king bedrooms with full BR. Great kiddos rm with 2 bunk beds. Very well equipped kitchen, although tight on space. Loved 2 living spaces with fireplaces and pool table. Regarding ski access, it’s possible to ski back to the house, but I’d highly suggest a detailed map be left in home showing HOW one would ski back to the home. It was not possible via Tygraves trail on our stay, it took us 3 days to figure out HOW to ski back. You cannot ski out, shuttle stop isn’t super convenient, best bet is a drop off at Peak 9 gondola. Super nice touch has home had a lit Christmas tree:)). Also found the mud/ski gear room adjacent to the garage was super nice!!Opportunities to improve guests stay:- radiant heat- not clear on how it worked, no written info sheet on that. Thermostat in dining rm was set on 68, temp read 60 whole time we were there. Don’t assume everyone understands radiant heat thermostats.- ski back map as cited above - music speakers in all rooms would have loved to use it, but NO info or sheet on how to hook up or tie into it. Again a simple info sheet would be awesome.- for a quality rental and $$$ as this was a couple info sheets on opportunity items would be awesome and improve folks stay greatly!!!

This house is unbelievable! The kitchen has everything you could want or need plus more. The ski room was key for our family of 6. The rooms were perfect and family space was awesome. The location couldn’t have been better. Over all an excellent experience! I would HIGHLY recommend this house!

This property was perfect for our group of 35-40 year old college friends. The house was a short walk from Peak 8 base and we were able to ski right up to the hot tub in back. Ski in/ski out was a big selling point for us, and this place delivered.Each room included its own bathroom and shower, which was a great feature for 7 adults. The kitchen was well equipped and had top of the line appliances. Downstairs was the jewel for our group because we could cook, play pool, and watch tv/movies all in one space while hanging out together.I recommend Saw Mill Run Retreat to anyone looking for a great place to stay while exploring Breckenridge and the surrounding areas. Not only will our group book another ski trip on this property in the future, my wife and her sister are already looking into bookings for the summer.

The home was better than expected. Lots of perfect touches from the artwork to the extremely well-stocked kitchen. It has every gadget imaginable in the kitchen. Customer service from River ridge was especially delightful and they were very responsive and helpful. The home is a short walk to the gondola. It was a perfect home for a family trip ranging from young adults to grandpa.

We enjoyed everything about this property. We’ve rented many houses over the years and this one was exactly what we needed in every way. We all agreed the house was perfect for all of us. We were six adults and two children. The layout of the house was ideal for cooking , eating, playing cards, while others did work in another room. It was great to have bathrooms for practically every bedroom. The location was great, you could walk to the gondola to get to town, or take the bus. There were many hiking opportunities close by. Everyone had a wonderful time. The only negative was the hot tub cover that had taken on water, and was too heavy to put back in place after using. The maintenance man came in a very timely manner to address the issue. However, he told us to just leave the cover up, which is not really the remedy. Overall, we will definitely be coming back again.

We enjoyed making Saw Mill Run Retreat our hone for the week! The ski room was a great place to store gear and get ready in the morning. Returning from the slopes was easy off Trygves run. Relaxing in the hot tub on the deck was just the thing after skiing. The home was spacious and had everything we needed. Multiple areas to relax in the evening allowed all to do their own thing. The pool table was great entertainment. Getting to the slopes in the morning did require some walking, but our "ski mom" drove us the short distance each morning which saved me energy for the days runs - LOL! The management team was proactive in asking if there was anything they could do for us and promptly addressed our needs. I recommend the home and management team. Enjoy!

It was a great home, good location walking distance to the base of Peak 8 - when the Gondola is running you can also take the Gondola down into town. Some restaurants were open for outdoor seating at Peak 8. Short drive to downtown Breckenridge. Main Street is closed to vehicular traffic for social distancing. Many shops and restaurants were open.The home is very comfortable, separate living room and family room area. Pool Table was fun and so was hot tub. We saw the neighborhood fox - there were actually 2 of them. The Master Bedroom was large and for families with kids the bunk bed room was fabulous. The 3rd bedroom on the upper floor had a queen bed but the bed was very noisy every time you moved. All bedrooms had their own bathroom. There was even a bathroom on the main floor that had a shower. Kitchen was fully stocked with equipment needed to make meals and the barbecue worked well!The property was clean and well maintained. The pictures on vrbo were exactly as the house was laid out. The property management company reached out to make sure we were happy. Hiking is near and great location during ski season with just a short walk.I recommend this beautiful home!

All was good, kitchen well stocked, short walk to peak eight. Only issue was a blip with the hot tub and management got it fixed. Overall I would recommend this for a good time in Breckenridge.

The home is amazing with plenty of space for large families. We had great bedrooms and the kitchen was amazing with everything you could need! Also loved the pool table and hot tub. The rental company kept checking on us and so accomodating. The house was perfect!

This house was perfect for 6 adults and 5 young children. The location is wonderful-walking distance from the gondola and the adventure park as well as hiking trails. The kitchen was well equipped with the exception of only one potholder . Im sure we could have gotten another if we had asked. Everyone agreed that this house was perfect for our family vacation.

Great house! We have stayed in breck many times in the summer and winter and this was one of our favorites. Great set up. Kitchen well stocked. Didnt hurt that we had 3 deer and a moose visit the backyard during our week!

This home is perfectly designed and appointed. It has all of the amenities we expected. The layout of the home allows for several different 'cozy' gathering places, each with their own vibe. The kitchen has everything you need, and all appliances and utensils are top quality. The 'only' thing I'd change, is the pool table was important to us, and the quality of the pool cues was very low. A small upgrade there and this home is perfect. There were just two couples this trip, but we'll be back with more friends!

Our two families spent a snowy week at Breck and it was a terrific time. The house is a beautiful house within walking distance to peak 8. We had 5 adults and 4 kids aged 6-10 and the house was a great space for everyone. The kitchen had absolutely everything needed to make dinners every night. I've never been to a vacation house with so many cooking tools and accessories. The kids loved the pool table and the hot tub was a bonus. The only issue we had with the hot tub was that the power was constantly being tripped and the hot tub power would go out. We had to stay on top of that to ensure the heat stayed up. Other then the hot tub power, the only other thing we'd comment on for improvement are new pillows on the beds. All nine of us complained about the thin pillows on the bed. We'd 100% come back to saw mill run retreat.

What an awesome home to rent in such a great area close to Main Street with all the restaurants, bars and shops. The home is equipped with everything we could have needed. The hot tub while it was snowing was pretty dang cool. A Fox came by one night to provide extra entertainment. I wanted to bring him home as an emotional assist pet but my wife vetoed the idea. You will have the time of your life if you rent this home. We will definitely be back.

Very happy with the accommodations. The management company responded quickly when the microwave malfunctioned and fixed the issue immediately with a temporary/portable microwave. This allowed time for an appliance repair company to respond the very next morning. Check-in was flawless. Only suggestion would be to find better storage, other than the 1st floor bedroom closet, for inflatable bed and blankets. The home was well stocked, especially in the kitchen. Note: outdoor patio rail needs attention as does an Adirondack chair.

Myself and my crew stayed at this amazing property while we were working in the area. Having enough beds and bathrooms to accommodate my crew of 5 was essential and worked out perfectly. GREAT ski trip. Loved the house! Well stocked, plenty of room for the 9 of us, and the hot tub was key to a long day of skiing. We did enjoy the pool table for a nice ending to the evening. It was not a ski in / ski out but shuttles were close by to get us to and from the ski slopes. You will not be disappointed renting this house!

Group of 8 had an excellent time here. About a 15 minute walk to the lifts and you can pretty much ski back on the roads. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Hot tub was perfect for post ski.

We had a GREAT time on our ski trip. The place was beautiful and very spacious. It was not as much of a ski-in/ski-out as we thought it would be, so that didn't work out for the little kids. We ended up driving to the base area each day. One suggestion to the owners: you need to leave at least ONE shelf empty in the kitchen for folks to store their food. We did some rearranging ourselves just to have someplace to store the non-refrigerated stuff.

All good. There were 11 of us and the property is as advertised; Three King suites and a bunk room with its own bath/shower. The couches were also adequate for sleeping if needed. The dining table is great for large groups and the kitchen table and bar top were excellent for meals that were not as regimented. Pool table, hot tub and fire places were a nice touch in the evenings. Access to the slopes is acceptable, but certainly not a true "ski in, ski out." The more adventuresome of our crew skied in; most used the free shuttles or walked the road to Peak 8. From Peak 8, we had great days on the mountain or took the Gondola into town for drinks, meals, groceries, etc.

Very beautiful home, close to Peak 8 base and close to downtown as well. Not exactly ski-in ski-out. Its a short hike, but not bad. The hot tub and pool table were great, as well as 2 fireplaces. There is enough room to be by yourself if you need to and plenty of family space. We had 5 couples, so one couple had to sleep on couch in TV room. The driveway is plowed for you, garage is heated with a room for ski stuff. All in all the home was a great fit for our family ski vacation.

This is a stand alone house in a very nice part of Breckenridge, between the slopes of 4 O'Clock Run (Peak 8 Base) and the Snowflake Lift. The kitchen has a gas stove and is fully stocked. The layout of the house is open and roomy, which makes it nice at the end of day to socialize with others. The house is well stocked with towels, sheets, kitchen utensils, and other items. Also, there's a ski room near the garage to take skis on and off and for storage. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

This was a beautiful house that was perfect for our family get away. The kitchen was fully stocked with just about everything u could need to cook a big family dinner. There was more than enough plates and utensils for everyone and more. There was extra blankets n pillows that was available even tho we didn't need it and there was also plenty of extra towels for the jacuzzi. The house had all the movie channels which made for a great movie night and there was also a lot of board games to choose from too. The location was a short 2 minute drive to the bottom of peak 8 n a quick 5 minute drive to town. Overall this was just an amazing place that had everything. I am definitely booking this house again on my next visit to beautiful Breckenridge.

Beautiful Home, Great Location, and Friendly Fox

This was a beautiful home with great amenities. Every room we walked into was more impressive then the last. We had a group of 16 and there was plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was fully stocked with more appliances and cooking wear than we ever could have used during our stay. Towels and soap were provided in all of the bathrooms. We definitely brought too much of our own supplies. The views were amazing too. The only downside is that drive way was tricking to navigate even with a 4X4. We only used the hottub once, but it was very nice and big enough for 8. There was also a very friendly fox that came to visit us multiple times on the back deck. He was clearly well fed. It was an easy quarter mile walk to the bus stop to get to the lifts.

A group of 6 adults rented this property for a weekend wedding and we couldn't have been happier. River Ridge Rentals had everything in perfect shape upon our arrival along with some helpful information and a welcome gift. The house was beautiful and everything was in perfect working order. This place can certainly hold a large group. There were 3 huge master bedrooms and a 4th room with 3 beds and a bunk bed. We enjoyed the hot tub daily and the heated floors were also a wonderful way to warm up at night. While we were staying, we used Uber and Lyft to get around, but there is plenty options within walking distance or you can take the shuttle. The town is a must see as well. We were not there in the snow so did not experience the ski in/ski out. We will 100% be back!
