It was a beautiful home, in a great location. The staff were attentive and helpful. There were a few minor things in the home that we noticed needed repair but overall the home was excellent. If it wasn't such a long drive I would go back to Breckenridge and rent this same home. Thank you for providing a wonderful experience.

This house was perfect for location, location, location. It had great walkability to shopping, dining, gondola, and transportation hub for Breck Free Ride. We really liked the two kitchens and all the balconies. Great views to go with the great location. Lots of room outdoors for sledding and other snow activities.

Great location, great house

There is a grocery store very convenient, and it has everything like you would see at home. The views are amazing. Having the two kitchens was very nice and they were stocked with everything we needed. We received a very quick response to any questions we had and the check-in / check-out process was very simple.

We had several family members ages 12 to 80. This was a great home to get together with family, easy walk to Gondola, and beautiful town with everything you would need. Kitchen is well stocked, and the home was clean. Would stay here again. Management responded very quickly to any questions or issues we had. Hot tub was an added bonus.

Our family, eight adults and five children, stayed in the River House for four nights in five days. This was the first weekend in December. We skied, shopped, took a snow care tour and enjoyed our family together in the beautiful home. We all had our own bedrooms and bathrooms, the location was extremely close to the gondola and downtown. It was pretty near perfect!

We had 18 people stay at The River House over Thanksgiving and the house was perfect. A hidden gem. Each room was clean and well-maintained. It's important to us that where we stay be clean and this home exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was amazing and updated with top-of-the-line appliances. (The only caution is that the gas stove knobs in both kitchens are touchy and would come on if someone bumped them. One night we smelled gas and realized a burner was on.) The location is so perfect. You are within walking distance of everything! The view from the back patio is what you came for! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and will definitely return!

Fantastic in so many ways

It is perfectly located on the main thoroughfare in Breckenridge, allowing for an easy walk to restaurants, shopping and the gondola. The hot tub in the back along the river was a great spot for the group to enjoy in the evening and offered beautiful views in the morning to start the day. Check in and out was absolutely seamless.

Cleanliness, Hospitality, and Location Made This VRBO Stay A Family Reunion to Remember

We loved having access to both kitchens and could easily spread out between the dining tables, living area, sitting area, and outdoor space that included a hot tub. We were just steps away from the gondola and appreciated being able to walk Main Street without having to find parking. We also enjoyed listening to the river run in the back yard. The upgraded kitchens were fully stocked. If you have older family or friends, make sure they can manage stairs, but if stairs are not a concern, you will love this place!

Perfect Location

Place is literally 100 yards to gondola and 100 ft to Main Street. I would take this property over any ski/in out house on the mountain. Plenty of space and good “hang out” area in basement. Our group loved this rental! The house matched the description and definitely lived up to the expectations. The text assistance was great. Being able to report a problem or ask a question and get an answer right away was very convenient. We used the service to report a non-working dishwasher and they stepped us through a reset process before ultimately sending a technician. I am not sure the dishwasher actually got repaired, but just having responses was helpful. I will note that they do not include the service fees and cleaning fees in the price they display. We definitely got sticker shock at the final payment amount. But ultimately it was worth it.

Everything was great, the house was exactly es advertised, plenty of rooms, and perfect for big families. The fact that you can rent a separate apartment is perfect to let kids and teenagers to have their own space.Both kitchens worked perfect and are well equipped. It would be a plus if the main living room had a view.....The location is perfect. Shrt wlak from the gondola, and short walk from the lower 4 o'clock trail....

The place is like a maze with many rooms and nooks and crannies (good for early morning play time). Not the most awe-inspiring common areas, but super practical and pretty much perfect for us. Arrived on 2018-08-06 | Salli W.Each had our own rooms and private bathrooms. We couldnt even hear anyone through the walls. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. We cooked breakfast every morning and had dinner at the place several nights. The stream running behind the property is so peaceful! The eating area was perfect for our group to play games, hang out and eat together. It was also nice to be able to walk to all the shops, restaurants and bars. It was a perfect place for us and everyone raved about it!! Couldnt be more pleased.
