Great place to stay for a Copper ski trip!!

This was our first trip to Copper and we loved it. Great mountain and a great rental property that was steps from the mountain. Right outside the convenient ski/mud room, you can be on the slopes and ski down to a place to get tickets and then a lift to start your day. The house was huge compared to what we usually get in Vail - more for your money at Copper! The 2 car garage was convenient and the hot tub was amazing. We were always cozy thanks to the radiant heating. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and cleaning and the bathrooms were well stocked. The hot tub specific towels were great. We were there for some really cold weather and I wish there had been a thermometer outside the kitchen window. Also, had an incident with the neighbor who was parked right behind the garage and was reluctant to move his truck. But none of this changed the fact that the house was perfect! I gave the furniture 4 stars because the dining room chair seats sink in the center like a donut. They could use repair or replacement. Thanks for a great stay!

My wife and I had a great three day summer getaway to the Retreat at Union Creek 1. Enjoyed the stars from the rooftop hot tub and the close by running/biking trail. There's a ski lift just a few feet away behind the property so it would be nice for a ski vacation as well.

We had a wonderful in Union Creek I. The house was right at the lift for ski in ski out to the green slopes and near the children's ski school. We had 8 adults and 2 children and there was plenty of room. The house is bigger than it looks on line.

Everything was wonderful! This is the second year we have stayed here and the location and size of the rental can't be beat. There were a few minor things like the ice maker and the mudroom door not staying shut except for when it is locked. Like I said, very minor!

This is a spacious beautiful duplex. The duplex is designed so it feels like a freestanding home. It’s in a great neighborhood, we’ve stayed in this neighborhood several times. We’ve used River Ridge Rentals many times and they have always been wonderful to deal with.

We traveled with our college and high school aged children to ski the week before Christmas. This home offers something for everyone! We had plenty of time reconnecting as a family on the 3rd floor living space, having family meals together, and on the slopes that were easily accessible. At the same time, there was no shortage of space to spread out and have some quiet time when you needed it. We enjoyed the true ski in/ski out off an EASY green that is a short ski down to the two lifts at West Village. Word to the wise- accessibility is limited for anyone who can’t climb stairs. Our one recommendation is to plan ahead and use the concierge grocery service through River Ridge Rentals. This home is at the top of our list to visit again when we come to Copper!

Always a comfortable place with perfect amenities and outstanding location . . . .especially during warm spring afternoon apres ski on the patio. We love the roof-top jacuzzi, but suggest that it should be just a little bigger to accommodate one or 2 more adults. Might be nice to have one more bunk bed as well and perhaps a bigger sofa in the family room. Otherwise, it's a great home with excellent features. We are always delight to stay here and look forward to return trips! Would like to buy it if we could!

Comfortable Home Away from Home.
Arrived on 2019-03-16 | Donna B.We enjoy our Spring Break week at Union Creek. The location was perfect for our family. Our ski instructor was able to meet the children just outside the door for ski school each morning. This changed the mood of our whole trip!! The couch and beds were very comfy. There was enough space for kids and adults to have separate areas to relax. The kitchen was well equipped. It was nice to have all laundry detergent, soap, shampoo etc provided for us!The views outside each window was spectacular. I loved being able to watch the kids get off the Kokomo lift and ski down past the house. There was record snowfall the week before we arrived and the kids loved being able to dig tunnels and make our own walkway and ski path to lumberjack lift. I would love to see this area in the Summer when everything is green. Some areas to improve for the house would be an update on shower heads, water pressure, and better flushing commodes. The oven is also located right in the middle of the walkway into the kitchen which is a bit awkward. Even with these quirks with this house, we would still stay again and love every minute of it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Union Creek1! Amazing location to lift, house was roomy enough for our three families. Dream home in a dream location! Our family had the best vacation ever in this lovely home. We had everything we needed. Very spacious and great ski in ski out location. We had one small problem with an Aerobed but River Ridge maintenance had us a new one in a couple of hours. We are looking forward to staying again someday.

Terrific Ski-in/Ski-out across a mini road and mini hill up to the Lumberjack Lift. More smooth returning with the ability to ski down directly to the side door. Beautiful view of lift and hill from the kitchen and deck.River Ridge Staff are responsive and professional. The kitchen garburator had to be changed during our stay as it was cracked and leaking.The home was very clean and spacious. Well laid out for three separate couples who could each have their own floor separate to the main level. The one couple with two children occupied the lower level as it has two bedrooms (one with bunk beds) and two washrooms as well as a pull-out sofa within the second living room that we did not have to rely on. The middle floor has a great suite with the only bath tub of the three. It also has a shower. The hot tub is located on the top floor deck opposite the upper suite that has a very large closet and washroom with a terrific view from the bedroom. The home was spacious for every one of our eight persons. We could have housed another couple or two more children on the pull-out with comfort.Well furnished including sufficient amenities in the kitchen (serviettes, baking and cook wares along with utensils, crock-pot, blender...). The only item missing for us was a garlic-press. The supply of olive oil and spices was also terrific.We would rent this unit again. Thank you.Areas where improvements could be made:extra pillows available for those who desireremovable runners inside and outside to/from the hot-tub (the outside runner could be kept inside until needed)one extra medium sized stainless steel pot say for a smaller soup or pot of chili.Separate to the unit itself; we said we'd return to the area after Copper Mountain improves the Lumberjack Lift as it is quite slow. We're green run skiers thus this side of the mountain is great but the Lumberjack Lift takes too muc

Our rental experience with River Ridge was great again! This is our second year renting a property from them in the same area. We had a problem with the internet, called customer service and had someone out to have it fixed within an hour. There could be a bit more of a description on the location because we arrived at night and it was a bit difficult to see the house number. Also there is a lift right outside of our kitchen window, wish we knew this when booking, but a bonus when we showed up and saw it!

The floor plan was great; we were able to play board games upstairs and have a different group doing things downstairs. It was very spacious and very modern. It's tough to find a really nice looking home in Copper and this was important to us because not everyone coming was going to hit the slopes. The shuttle service was also easy to use.
