Perfect Summertime Family Getaway

The home was absolutely beautiful! We were able to ski in, which was so convenient for eating lunches and taking breaks. Ski out is just a short walk to the Lumberjack lift. Private attached garage kept our vehicle warm, and out of weather. Great for unloading and loading luggage and groceries. The kitchen/dinning was beautiful with lots of seating and all the things we needed. The private hot tub was clean and fun. The bathrooms were updated and clean. We will definitely stay here again!

Retreat at Lewis Ranch is a beautiful mountain home with huge windows of glass to enjoy the view! Easy short walk to base of Lumberjack lift and if snow is plentiful you can ski back to house. Very spacious home, rooftop hot tube, great bedding and baths, fully stocked kitchen for cooking in, large dining table and bar seating. Our 3 generations - parents, children and spouses and 5 grandchildren totaling 11 deemed it our favorite place to stay at Copper. Rebooking with River Ridge Rentals for 2025- dealing with a local rental agency that is accommodating, efficient and top notch is fabulous!

We had a wonderful stay at the Retreat at Lewis Ranch. Although we had a few maintenance issues arise, they were taken care of right away! This was the perfect house for my family of 5 plus my parents and in-laws. The hike up the Lewis Ranch road provided great exercise, but the Copper Coach was wonderful when we didn't have the energy to walk back up. The grill was fantastic, the hot tub was awesome after a long day of hiking, golfing and mountain biking. We loved exploring the hiking trails just up the street. We can't wait to come back!

Perfect for a large family

This home is perfect for two medium-sized families. Clean, luxurious, well-stocked, very comfortable and the kitchen has just about everything. And very close to the Lumberjack lift. And River Ridge was very helpful and responsive. Our families had a blast.

This vacation home is absolutely beautiful. The owner of this home went above and beyond in making sure that the house was equipped with everything we needed and more. This home is very conveniently located near everything Breckenridge, keystone, Dillion, Vail I couldn't ask for a better location. Our six day vacation at this property was awesome. The space was more than adequate for the three families. The kitchen was supplied well with dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans and many small appliances . Top line appliances. The very large dining room table fit us perfectly.

This place has everything! We loved the fact that almost everything was heated. Very spacious place, we had 10 people stay here and everyone was in awe of the place. The hot tub was fantastic after a day of snowboarding. The only thing we were disappointed about was that we didn't get to experience a true ski-in/ski-out since Copper closed the Lumberjack lift for the rest of the season. We went on the last week of the season so it's not the rentals fault! We would definitely rent this place again if we come back.

The place is beautiful. It suited our families very comfortably. We love Copper and want to stay in this location again. We had one problem - we called maintenance about a bathroom door that locked one of guests in the bathroom at 1:00 in the morning. They promised to come fix it the next day -but did not.
We are so happy that you had a wonderful stay at Retreat at Lewis Ranch and that your family enjoyed Copper Mountain. We were sorry to hear of the issue with the bathroom door. Our Senior Maintenance Technician did come out to inspect the door, however the issue could not be fixed during your stay as we had to hire a local locksmith. The home was clean with ample room for a group of ten. The beds and linens were comfortable. The kitchen had all the utensils and amenities to prepare multiple dinners during our week. The home was stocked with all needed paper products and laundry detergent. Home is in an easy ski-in location; however, there is a short hike uphill to Lumberjack and not a true ski-out home. This was known ahead of time and not a surprise to us. Overall, an excellent home.

Wonderful Place for Families to Spend Quality Time

Floor plans are so well laid out that allows enough casual space for socializing or chilling after a long day on the slopes. The woodwork and dcor are an absolute great feel for a weekend Rocky Mountain lodge getaway. The chefs in our family loved the kitchen layout complete with professional appliances that provided great conveniences for our gourmet meals. The folks at River Ridge were so accommodating and followed up to ensure everything was fine. Hope to find this one available on future visits.

Great Summer Family Vacation

There was plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen was perfect, as we love to cook. We had everything we needed at our fingertips. We loved being able to congregate in the kitchen/dining/living area to spend time together and share cooking and cleanup. The Village itself is a charming place to spend time: the free lifts to great hiking, the bumper boats and bungee jumping, and some really nice restaurants. I have highly recommended it to my Oklahoma friends with large families - a great summer bargain!

Beautiful, Luxury Home
Arrived on 2016-04-07 | Jessica L.This place is amazing! Nine of us fit comfortably and all the kids had the downstairs to themselves. A true vacation for mom! A full kitchen setup, BBQ, and a good sized dining room allowed us to have fun dinners with friends without feeling cramped. We could ski in and out from the house or call a shuttle from the village when needed. With nine of us, 3 competitors in a National freeski competition, 2 coaches, and the rest of the crew, all going in different directions this was key. To top off a great day on the slopes and dinner with friends we had a private hot tub with beautiful views. Our family has been visiting Copper in April for the last five years and I can't believe it took me this long to find Lewis Ranch. I already know where I'm staying next year.

Favorite Place Yet!

1st Trip to Copper Mountain
Arrived on 2012-01-27 | Jimmy and Vickie and familyOur first trip to Copper Mountain! We brought our 3 children and their spouses and our 6 grandchildren and we loved every minute of our time here! What a lovely house with such a beautiful view and relatively good access to the slopes! We plan to come again!
Love the steam shower, hot tub and 30 seconds it takes to get to lift.
Arrived on 2012-01-26 | AnonymousLove this place. I went last year and went back this year because it was so great. Easy green for the kids to ski back into condo when they're exhausted at the end of the day...but also a quick ride up to the bowls in the morning. Fun!
Perfect Family Reunion
Arrived on 2011-08-14 | AnonymousTranquil setting! 14 of us stayed in luxury and comfort! Nicely decorated, new appliances. The floor plan is open and rooms are large. Three levels allowed us lots of room to spread out as well. Plenty of summer activities and beautiful views from 2 decks when we stayed in. Will definitely be back in the winter to take advantage of the close proximity to the ski lift!

Excellent convenience and luxury

This house has ski in and ski out which is a must for me. The house is big and every detail is top notch. We had 8 people and there was plenty of room. Professional grade kitchen and outdoor BBQ grill. The hot tub on the upstairs porch that overlooks the mountain is the perfect way to finish a day of skiing.
