Great Spring Ski Trip

Great rental home is a 5 minute drive to the slopes. House was extremely comfortable. We had a minor plumbing issue and the management company had it fixed the next morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect for our stay at Moosehead Lodge. They even made it snow for us one night to create the perfect amount of magic for our vacation (lol). Seriously, the property is immaculate, we located near Breckenridge, and the hosts were so helpful every day of our stay, checking in to see if all was well. We would definitely bring our family back here again.

We found Moosehead Lodge to be perfect for our families Christmas ! The views were incredible , just stunning from every room . The house itself truly felt more like our personal lodge and was a vacation in of itself ! We all enjoyed the fooseball table and spa ! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking family meals . Location was just a few minutes to Main Street Breck , City Market and recreation center where my boys got in a few workouts . We could not have made a better choice and treasure our memories there ! What a wonderful visit to this mansion in the woods with ridiculous views. 4 bedrooms 4 bathrooms, 2 car heated garage, hottub, propane fireplaces, lots of hangout space, foosball, full kitchen with appliances and pots/pans silver and glassware.

Beautiful log cabin home

Our family was pleasantly surprised by the roominess and cleanliness of this beautiful log cabin home. Kitchen was very well stocked, everything you need to cook meals every day. Quick 5 minute drive to ski the mountain and a nice relaxing hot tub or shower with steam shower at the end of the day. Multiple fireplaces to cozy up to on those cold snowy nights! Easy check-in and check-out instructions. We loved Breckenridge and will definitely be back.

This place is amazing. We spent the days upstairs taking in the views through all the huge windows, and the nights downstairs watching movies and enjoying the hot tub. My goal was to stay at a house that felt like a vacation destination in and of itself. Moose Head Lodge was a bullseye. And on top of all that, the host company was attentive, responsive and easy to reach in case we needed anything. We will absolutely be staying here again.

This property was perfect, beautiful, spacious and well located. Management was quick to respond to an issue with a bathroom door. The kitchen was very well stocked and the hot tub was clean and hot! We all had a fantastic time and would definitely rent this home again. There was more than enough room for the seven of us ladies! Moosehead Lodge was in the perfect location with spectacular mountain views enjoyed from the entire main floor as well as the deck and patio. The house and views are as beautiful as the pictures appear on the VRBO listing. Many mornings and evenings of our stay, we enjoyed seeing deer feeding in the meadow behind the house. The location is perfect - a short 4 min drive to town or quick ride to biking trails. The rooms are comfortable and the spacious kitchen was enjoyed by all. We would definitely love to stay at this property again.

The accommodations were excellent. The views from the property could not have been better. The manager's communication was excellent and they were very understanding about some accommodation changes we needed to make. We would not hesitate to book this property again next year. The only change we'd make would be delaying the trip a couple weeks since there were some attractions, restuarants and shopping that weren't open yet for the season.

The one thing I like about this house is the communication between me and the property management. The view of the mountains from the house is so beautiful. Words could not do the house justice. You will have to book this house to experience it for yourself.

We just came back from our week long stay at Moosehead Lodge for Thanksgiving and we all agreed it was our best family vacation yet! RRR was in constant contact with us before and during our stay to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. Check-in and check-out instructions were very easy. We had zero issues or complaints. Everything was as advertised and the house far exceeded our expectations! There was plenty of room for everyone and the kids loved having the downstairs area while we had the upstairs. With the views, decks, hot tub, sleds, foosball table, chess and books provided, we could have stayed at the house and not left and had been perfectly fine with it (having 4 teens ages 16-19 that says a lot!) A snow storm came in overnight so we left to do some sightseeing, when we came back the snow on our driveway was being removed by management so we could get in and out which was greatly appreciated. Due to COVID restaurants were carry out only so we bought groceries and cooked everything at the house. The kitchen had everything needed and the double oven was perfect for our thanksgiving dinner. The gas grill was perfect for an easy meal of hamburgers and hotdogs that my sons enjoyed making. We cannot wait to stay here again!

This has definitely been our favorite family trip so far! The kids (teenagers 16-19) could have stayed at the house all week and been happy and that says a lot! From the hot tub, foosball table, sleds, decks, and overall location with the most amazing views you really don't want to leave. We don't get much snow living in Texas so having a snow storm come in and blanket everything was simply beautiful! The kids made their own sledding hill and were out there all day on the sleds that were provided. I could go on and on about all of the great things about Moosehead Lodge. We will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful, spacious home just as pictured. We appreciated the personal touches throughout the home, large well stocked kitchen, and amenities especially the chess table, foosball table, and hot tub. This was our 3rd summer to spend time at Moosehead Lodge and we've already booked for next year! The location is the best with easy access to town and the layout of the house is perfect. The BIG bonus this year was seeing 2 moose right behind the house which was so exciting! RRR is always available when there's even a minor issue. We would HIGHLY recommend Moosehead Lodge!

We loved the location of the home, and that it was close to town, but yet provided great views of the mountains and meadow area. We saw several mule deer close to the house. The house was absolutely spotless, and our group had ample room. The steam shower was a nice bonus! The mattress in the master definitely could use replacing (many reviews have noted this as well), and several of the casement windows will not close properly. We would stay again.

This was our second summer to spend time at Moosehead Lodge and, again, it was wonderful! The location is perfect with a great view of, not only the mountains, but the protected meadow right off the back of the house. It was our first visit to Colorado and this home was absolutely perfect! Great location to all activities, horseback riding, white water rafting, kayaking, and hiking and close to grocery stores and shopping. The house had the best view and was super clean! Perfect for families! This house is well socked with all necessities as well. We had a mishap with the bunkbed falling but they where quick to fix the issues. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

This home was very clean and beautifully located on the mountain. We woke up to a picture perfect view and was close to all activities army Breckenridge. The home is less than 2 miles to Main Street and the Market grocery store. Absolutely stunning home! Highly recommend!

Easy in and out. Very nice place and the kids loved it. BBQ grill was top notch which was a plus. Wish we could have checked out later than 10am is my only gripe about the place.

Our experience at Moosehead Lodge was fantastic! The house and views are beautiful and everything we needed was at our fingertips. The management company was wonderful to work with. We had a couple of very minor issues that were addressed immediately. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked it for next year!

I rented here for a late summer family get-together. It's a beautiful place with great views and nice amenities. Our stay would have been more enjoyable without some issues - the refrigerator wasn't working properly (due to a known problem), the gas fireplaces in the main and rec rooms didn't work and windows would not totally close without manually pushing or pulling the closed.

This home was so spacious that it fit 14 of us comfortably. The house was clean and fully stocked with basic household items. We had to call maintenance for a minor issue and they handled it quickly and it did not disrupt our stay. The kids had a great time in the basement being entertained with the xbox and Foosball table. I would highly recommend this house to everyone and hope to be able to make another trip back here.

This is the 2nd year we've stayed in this house. We always spend President's Day week in Breck. We love the town and love this house! It's very easy access to town and the gondola. It comfortably fits our group of 4 adults and 6 kids (ages 9 thru 16).

There were 14 of us in our family Christmas Ski Trip. This house was top notch. A very well stocked kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room. It was nice not to have to purchase every little thing we needed (such as toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap etc). There is lots of space and the downstairs tv room was great. The kids stayed entertained with the games. Downstairs is also equipped with heated floors that were a nice surprise. The dining room and kitchen are had plenty of seating and room for our whole group to sit around and visit and have our meals. I would HIGHLY recommend this place and I for sure would stay here again. We did not have any maintenance issues, so I can't comment on that service. Thank you Moosehead Lodge for a wonder family home for our vacation.

We had the best time at Moose Lodge in Breckenridge. Close to downtown shops & dining. Skiing at Peak 8 only 10 mins from the house. The house was spacious with an amazing kitchen, huge hot tub & downstairs game area for the kids to hang out. The house was cozy, relaxing, clean & well maintained. The Mountain Views were breathe taking taking from every room. We cant wait to visit again soon.

We had a mini family reunion with 9 adults and 2 kids and it was the perfect home for it! It was immaculate, beautifully decorated, roomy, great amenities and above all--FANTASTIC views from almost every room. Moosehead Lodge turned out to be the perfect place for us! Comfortable with every amenity you'd ever want or need. The pictures don't do it justice. Spacious, yet intimate, wi-fi worked great throughout the home. Great selection of DVDs. Breathtaking views. Slept good except when the coyotes woke us. Watched the shooting stars on the back deck. Felt as is you could reach up and touch the sky and the clouds. Hot tub was clean. Would love to stay here again with the family!

We visited Breckenridge with our kids and another family with kids and this home was a perfect fit for 2 families! It was very clean and cozy. Well equipped kitchen (including crock pot which was nice) to make lots of meals for hungry kids! The location is great, a few minutes from town yet away from the hustle and bustle. Wonder full property! The Lodge was clean beyond expectation. The views of the mountains and ski slopes were spectacular. For families with kids it is a great place with games and a large screen TV with DVD capabilities, not to mention TV's in every bedroom. We had 10 people in our family group, and everybody loved the place. We hope to stay there again in the future.

We stayed at the Moosehead Lodge the week of Thanksgiving. The house was comfortable and the views were amazing. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. The kitchen was very well supplied with plenty of equipment needed to cook a full Thanksgiving meal. The table was perfect for our size of 8 people. The beds were very comfy as well. I highly recommend this house for your next Breckenridge adventure!

Moosehead Lodge is a beautiful home with plenty of bedroom/sleeping space and bathrooms. Perfect layout for our family of 8. Loved the location and magnificent views of the mountains. The home is easy to get to and just minutes from the slopes. Roads and driveways were cleared during our stay as there was continuous snowfall for the week we were there (Spring Break). Loved the heated garage, hot tub, big tv's, steam shower, well stocked spacious kitchen and felt very comfortable in this gorgeous home! First class. Definitely will book it again. Very, very nice!

we spent three nights there on a ski weekend with my sons and some friends. The location is perfect for reaching the transit station and the gondola at Breck. The views from all the windows are spectacular window vistas. its a clean, well kept large house. the steam shower was definitely one of the favorites along with the hot tub. I would stay there again for sure. Thanks

I walked in the door, and even after seeing the pictures, said whoa! It's just amazing! It soaks up the mountain views and vibe! We skied a lot, but to get back to this place was heaven! We will be booking again, and hope this nice review doesn't take my dates :)

We have rented many properties in the Breck area and loved this one! Gorgeous views from almost every room of the mountains. Very comfortable, well equipped, well maintained, so easy to get into Breckenridge as well as Frisco and to IH-70. We have 2 children and loved all the kid movies, Wi, and xbox after being outdoors hiking all day. Relaxing on the deck with a cup of coffee in the morning and looking out over the meadow and the sun rise over the mountains, so peaceful and yet we were so close to everything. We did not see any moose but did see a coyote one early one evening, enjoying a glass of wine on the deck. Hot tub was great after hiking all day - so many stars to see. We enjoy hiking with our kids in the summer and this house was perfectly located to all our favorites. We also rented bikes from Frisco and biked along Lake Dillon to the playground in Dillon and then burgers and music at Foote's Rest. Shopped around Breckenridge and then had lunch by the stream and the playground. The listing is very accurate, River Ridge was great to work with and we would definitely highly recommend this property.

Wow! This home was all we could have asked for and more! A group of friends and I traveled to Breckenridge for a "Girls Weekend" and stayed at the Moosehead Lodge. We were all impressed with how clean and refined the property was, plus the view was astounding. Even more importantly, River Ridge Rentals made sure our stay was perfect. We had anything we could ever need in the home, and they even called to check in to make sure we were pleased with everything.
