The house is SPECTACULAR! The rooms, spaces, kitchen, lounge room.. all incredible. And the location couldn't be better,literally just walking distance to the gondola, we even walked everyday with our ski boots on! The only thing that we found that could be improved is that the appliances need a little maintenance. The washing machine and downstairs mini fridge did not work. Evertything else was REALLY SPECIAL! Definitely would recommend to relatives and friends!!!

We had 8 adults and 4 kids that fit nicely in this home. If the one queen bed had been a king it would have been perfect. The location couldn’t be better. Just steps from the gondola station and a three minute drive from Main St. River Ridge Rentals was very responsive to the few questions we had. We enjoyed river rafting, the Georgetown Loop train, as well as the Snowflake hiking trail and Main St shopping. We had a great meal at Hearthstone with outstanding service. The house was just as nice as promised and very spacious. They advertise a Meile coffe bar which is great but should mention that a Kuerig and drip maker are also provided. The master bedroom mattress might need replacement. It was very squeaky when moving around on it. Noisy.

Our family of 6 adults and 4 children had a lovely experience at Monarch at Shock Hill. The location is perfect, we were able to walk, drive, or take the gondola to town in minutes, The kitchen was well stocked with spices and plenty of cooking utensils. We loved the Miele coffee machine and high end appliances. The lower level was nice because it had a family room with large windows and doors which let out to the hot tub and fire pit. The management team was extremely responsive and took care of all of our requests. The house is spacious and comfortable, we will be back!

Our extended family of 12 with 6 kids ranging from 10 months to 10 years recently stayed at the Monarch at Shock Hill. It was nice to have three levels to spread out. The house was equipped with top of the line appliances, a well stocked kitchen and even lots of games and toys for the variety of ages. The location was fantastic with easy access to the gondola and hiking trails or a quick drive into town. You can't beat Peak 8 for location. This house really spoiled us!

This house is beautiful. Has everything one needs to feel right at home. Espresso machine was amazing. Top notch appliances. Beautifully decorated and it has amazing views. Gondola was right there and you can take it up to kids adventures for free. We will definitely come back next time we are in Colorado.

Our home for the week was very comfortable and beautiful. It was in a great location and was extremely clean and extremely well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We normally have to make a trip to the store for some of the essentials, but not here! Lots of soap, detergent, paper towels and much, much more was already there! The staff was very responsive to all of our questions and took care of our requests very quickly and efficiently. All of their personnel were very friendly and extremely helpful and professional!

Absolutely loved this property in Breckenridge! We've been coming to Breck for years with our 2 kids; this year decided to bring extended 3 generation family. This home was exactly what we were hoping for as our base of operations and better than anywhere else we have stayed. The kitchen and living spaces provided ample gathering and private spaces for easy mornings with a spectacular view of the mountain sunrise, and big dinners, game nights and movies by the fireplace. The bedroom suites were both luxurious & quiet. And the location 75 yards to the gondola mid-load was perfect for our first-chair and last-chair snow seekers. Also, we could have charged rent for the steam-shower in the primary bath! Our entire family agrees, we absolutely want to come back here again next year! The only additional support I'd suggest is a guide on using the whole-home oxygen system for my fellow highland travelers. Thanks Monarch see you soon!

This home has everything you need and everything you didn’t know you needed. The access to the gondola is so easy and will take you down into town or up to Peak 7 or 8. We had 3 families in this home and had so much space! We will definitely be back!

Great place for a large family getaway
Arrived on 2022-01-31 | MikeThis is a beautiful house with more features than we knew how to use. Easy walking distance to the gondola puts you quickly at peak 7 or peak 8. The heat works REALLY well, so well that we had to open the window in the bottom-floor bedroom to sleep (even though it was below zero outside). But maybe I was just too dumb to work the controls. Checking in and out was super easy.

My family had an excellent time staying at this property. We went to the mountain to ski twice during our 4 night stay. The gondola is right around the corner to catch to either go up the mountain to ski or down the mountain to the shops in Breckinridge. The gondola runs from 8am- 5 pm daily. We would ski a half a day and come back to eat lunch and then head out again for the afternoon. The slopes were open 9 am- 4 pm. The house is beautiful! Heated flooring, an amazing kitchen to cook in with lots of dishes and pots and pans, 5 bedrooms that slept 10 comfortably. The garage has a heated floor with lots of storage for ski’s, boards, boots, etc. even has a boot dryer. The hot tub was big enough for 7-8 adults and was relaxing for everyone. We had an issue with the hot tub. The cover was blowing off with high winds and the tub needed to be reset. I called the reservation desk and it was handled quickly by maintenance and assistance over the phone for the reset. It was very nice to be able to call and have assistance right away. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Breck!

Absolutely wonderful home! We stayed here for our annual girls trip to Breck and this house exceeded our expectations! The kitchen is to die for! Take the time to learn how to use the built in espresso/coffee maker! Everything in the house is automated so after pushing a lot of buttons we finally learned how to pretty much use everything. Built in surround sound/music is great! The master bathroom was spectacular with a steam sauna and fireplace! Only downside was the hot tub is right on the round about main road. Trees are planted but it didn't really hide you. But, to that advantage we actually had three huge moose run on our patio while we were in the hot tub! Kind of scary but awesome at the same time. Since this was 2020, we didn't really do much in town. A little shopping and had appetizers outside at The Blue Stag (excellent ahi tuna appetizer). Lots of hiking right outside your door. Would love to stay here during ski season since it is literally across the round about from the gondola. Had a few issues with the garage door opening/closing but overall everything was great in the house. Only weird thing was the smallest room was the bunk bed room that could sleep 5 people. But the attached bath only had one sink. All of the other bathrooms had two sinks. We survived. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to coming back again.

The Monarch is in a perfect mid-mountain location. The views from the master bedroom are incredible. The house is well laid out and has every amenity you could imagine. We had a group of 8 and had the kids downstairs with their own game room, with the young adults on the third level. We enjoyed the master on the main floor. Beautiful home and great property management team!P.S The Miele coffee maker is the bomb.
