It is a rare experience these days to walk into a rental whose quality and beauty far exceeds expectations from the photos and description (the photos and description are great, but the house was even better.) Also the text support was fast, friendly and very helpful when we had questions arise about using the property. We'd absolutely stay here again.

We spent three nights at the Lumber Jack Lodge, and we had a fantastic time. The cabin was wonderful for our large family. There was plenty of room for all of us. Having two dishwashers with so many people was really nice.

What a beautiful home! The deck, the view, the large living spaces, and the number of bedrooms were perfect for our group. The teens in our group enjoyed the bunk rooms, too! Our only complaint was the quality of the mattresses. When you stay somewhere for a week and don't get a good night's sleep, it can make enjoying the vacation worthwhile. Our hope is they will update the mattresses soon for future renters.

This was the 2nd time we stayed at Lumber Jack Lodge. House is big and location is great especially for beginners. We have a big family so everyone had their space. House was very clean. There were a few lights/lamps that didn’t work, but not a big deal. We will definitely stay there again.

We have stayed many places at Lewis Ranch and this house has, by far, the best ski in/ski out access. Cant beat it.Having said that, there was a plumbing issue before our arrival that caused the house to smell like sewage for most of the week. RRR provided some smell abatement but it was not helpful. RRR did replace light bulbs and took care of a couple other items that needed attention. They were always responsive to our needs.I would stay here again based on LOCATION. We are considering our options. The rental price for next year is thousands more for the same week than what we paid this year.

Everything about this home was amazing. We had a family of 24. The space fit our needs and was great. The view of the ski in/pit right outside the back was amazing. Enough cookware a day kitchen fully equipped for the size. The photos are exactly as home is. The hot tub won the teens over and the pool table had the gentlemen occupied. The staff were very attentive to any and all questions I had and responded in a timely manner. I will definitely book again with river ridge. The customer service goes above and beyond and we loved this home.

I couldn't be happier with my stay at the Lumber Jack Lodge. We had a large group and there was ample COMFORTABLE beds. The finishes, bathrooms, furniture quality, everything was top tier.All the details of the house were immaculate and detailed touches such as a huge basket of towels for the hot tub and a pantry full of quality cups made our stay stress free.Our stay was an annual get together and we will be booking again for next year!

Great house for a 3 families a total of 11 people. Really enjoyed being so close to the lift.Did have a few maintenance issues, but is to be expected as the prior guest were out that morning & we were in that afternoon. House had been booked all month without breaks.

Lumber Jack Lodge was an amazing house. The pictures don't make justice... My cousins and all our spouse's had a fantastic time. We were a group of 16 and everyone had plenty of space... The house has everything you need. Beautiful views. We we sad to have to go, but we most definitely would be back again if we had the chance to... We stayed there October 22-25 and the weather was great! We even got to see snow on our last day! I would recommend everyone to stay at Lumber Jack Lodge...

This house covered all our needs for a family vacation for 16 people. The kitchen had a well stocked pantry all we needed to provide was the groceries. We experienced a few minor maintenance issues that were taken care of promptly. The location was beautiful.

This was an ideal vacation home for a large group. We all fit comfortably and enjoyed being able to ski straight out the back door. The altitude and height of this home we were not prepared for. Most of us were sick the first night and each night thereafter got better. Come prepared with medication for anyone who could potentially have altitude sickness.

This place is awesome. Four families that are dear friends booked Lumber Jack Lodge and couldn't be happier. We were four couples and ten kids between the ages of 11 and 16. The house is extremely well equipped with dishes and dual dishwashers. We had to share our jacuzzi tub but if that's the biggest concern?! Any issue that came up during our stay (a clogged drain, for example) was answered immediately. What a house!

We loved our stay at the lumber jack - great location and lots of room. And we love Copper Mountain. There were some maintenance issues at the house like broken blinds, lights that weren’t working and a stopped up shower. Also the living room floor was quite dirty underneath the rug. Other than that it was a great place for a big family.

Absolutely wonderful stay. House location is truly ski in & out. Plenty of room for our large family. Loved the furnishings & decor. Very comfortable, felt like home. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking items(pots, pans, cookie sheets, crockpot, 2 dishwashers, 2 coffee pots, etc). It was very cold during our stay, but hot tub was up & running. Would not hesitate to come back!

The cabin was awesome! Super clean,comfortable and JUST like the pictures online. The only thing that was a little unexpected was that the garage door opener was not working when we got there. The cabin only allows 4 cars in the driveway so we had to arrange for this last minute. The maintenance team stopped by and fixed it the second day.

The property was amazing. The rooms were very comfortable for everyone. Our kids had a blast with the pool table and bunk rooms. Being so close to the lift made it even better! It was so convenient. The main level was a perfect size for all of us to gather to eat and play family games. The house was equipped with everything that was needed. We did need some maintenance with a sliding door which the guy showed up quick, but being from South Louisiana we are very friendly with everyone and this guy was not nice or friendly at all. Overall it was the BEST house that we have stayed in by far!!

Great location to house three skiing families

This property is a true ski in/ski out location; just up hill of the lumberjack lift. We cooked in every day and found all the appropriate kitchen equipment necessary to cook for a large crowd (15). We had comfortable beds and never felt crowded. Would love to stay here again next season.

This property is amazing. We were able to accommodate our large family, and appreciated the number of suites and extra beds. The dcor in all areas was fabulous. The elevator was an added bonus for loading in and out. We had an epic celebration, and enjoyed having such a wonderful venue.

Our family has rented home several times, and this is our favorite so far. It was a great floor plan, with really nice large bedrooms, each with a full Master style bath. The kitchen was well stocked and convenient. The bar/game room worked out well in the basement. We would stay again.

We spent the July 4th weekend in this home with 6 of my grown-up siblings. We had 9 kids and 12 adults and it was the perfect house and perfect space. Love the set up of King bedrooms with attached bathrooms. We didn't have to have the awkwardness of sharing bathrooms. Kids and adults enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. The large kitchen was excellent for everyone to gather for meals. The large deck provided great space for my sister to have a small yoga class in the morning and brother-in-laws to enjoy a few drinks in the evenings! Good location for hikes right out your back door! Copper had lots of activities for the kids. Thank you!

Great Summer Family Reunion

Our large family stayed here during the week of July 4th --- the house is wonderful. Plenty of space for everyone to have some privacy, but great common areas for meals. Views are spectacular (better than other homes nearby that face up the mountain), and the balcony proved to be a great spot for drinks after a day of fun on the mountain. Center Village is an easy walk down, but not for the faint of heart coming back (we used a car to shuttle back the older folks). Overall, a great place to stay in Summit County.

We stayed in the Lumber Jack Lodge for five days with our two sons and daughters-in-law and our six grandkids ranging in ages from nine to sixteen. The house was just perfect for our family of twelve. Everyone loved their bedrooms. The lower level game and rec rooms with the pool table, WII, and Play Station kept the kids occupied and happy. The Great Room was a wonderful place for all of us to gather and so big that it never seemed crowded. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful deck. We had two deer visit us daily. And watching the hummingbirds at the feeder on the deck was a joy. The kitchen is amazing with plenty of room for everyone. Everything in the house is first class, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. In addition Copper Mountain is a wonderful place for a family vacation. The summer activities for kids are bungie trampoline, bumper boats, go-karts, climbing wall, miniature golf, ski lift, and a new zip line. There is also a health culb with a pool and weight room.

We had wonderful time during our stay. The Lodge had everything we needed and more. The views are amazing and the location is also great. The bedrooms are very large with bathrooms that are stunning, especially the 2 master suites. Plenty of space for a large groups, we had 19. Loved every minute of our stay and will hopefully return soon!

Ski right out the back patio to get on the Lumbar Jack Lift which will take you to green runs and further on to blues if you so desire! Our party of 14 could not have been more satisfied. The ski school is just down the hill. Copper is beautiful and the house was fabulous!

Awesome house. We had about 15 adult athletes, US Ski Teamers and others staying there. Incredibly nice place. Very efficient. It handled this crew well. Meal times were a breeze in the large kitchen. My only gripe is the lack of parking for a house that big. But this we were able to deal with. We will definitely rent this place again.

Being from the Houston area, we wanted our family reunion to bring us to a cool, crisp, autumn where we'd be surrounded by the true beauty of fall - Colorado was the perfect destination, and the Lumber Jack Lodge, in all of its rustic yet elegant magnificence, was the most perfect home away from home for all 15 of us. Location: we were ON the mountain, with an awesome hiking trail running right through our back yard! The house: every bathroom (there are 7 full and 2 half baths) is gorgeous with unique artisan fixtures and finishes. From the stone and wood floors to the hammered copper kitchen sink, every inch of this house is a designer's dream. The 4 fireplaces brought cozy warmth, but one of our favorite parts of the home were the luxurious showers! Plus, we made good use of the hot tub and pool table, and the kids loved the Wii and Guitar Hero. Having rented other luxury properties and mansions, I was most impressed by the DETAILS of the Lumber Jack Lodge, and, should we decide to "shine" again in Colorado, we will undoubtedly return to this stunning mountain retreat.
