Our group of 5 adults and 2 kids had a great time at Cucumber Patch! Incredible location just a short walk from the gondola and our son loved watching the gondola from the window. Space itself felt bigger than the photos and had everything we needed. The garage is spacious, and heated! Everyone agreed this was an incredible spot and we would definitely return. Perfect group ski trip

Our group consisted of 2 families with young kids and this townhouse was a perfect fit with 4 bedrooms to fit everyone comfortably. It’s a great location - close to the peak 8 ski school for the kids and the north and south gondola parking lot. It’s 4 mins from Maine Street so we could easily get to town for dinner and grocery shopping. The house had a kitchen that was well stocked and games for the kids to play. The hot tub was a nice addition and the view of the gondola from the deck was perfect. We had a great time in Breckenridge and we will be back!

Stayed at this property for five nights this summer. Location is incredibly convenient — 3-4 min walk to gondola or an easy drive down the hill into town. (We walked down the hill one day also - took about 15 min). Property is very well kept. Layout/spacing was perfect for our group of 6. Prop manager was very responsive throughout the entire process. Would definitely return.

This home was beautiful and very well stocked in the kitchen. The location was very close to restaurants and shopping. Our only issue was that it is billed as ski in and ski out and to me this location doesn’t fit the definition of ski in and ski out. It’s a brief walk to the gondola, probably 5 minutes and then you ride the gondola to the base of the peak. The walk wasn’t terrible for adults carrying their ski gear, however, ski in/ ski out to me means you can ski to a lift. The rental staff was very helpful with any questions we had and responsive by text at any time. We would still book this home again just because it was so nice and perfect for three adult couples

Our group of 8 adults stayed at 66 Cucumber Patch Place for a week in January. We were all impressed by the cleanliness of the home. The common area and fireplace were spacious enough for us all to relax after a day of skiing, and the private hot tub was clean and ready to go when we arrived. The walk to the gondola was just far enough to get us winded and warmed up, but not too bad for us East coasters not used to the Breck altitude.Check-in and out were quick easy and efficient. The service, friendliness and responsiveness were fantastic and much appreciated!We were all sad to leave and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this unit and River Ridge Rentals.

I want to live here!
Arrived on 2022-12-31 | Alyssa R.I normally don't write a review but this place was so spectacular it deserves one! This house is so spread out if anyone would want some privacy they can get it. It's absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views of the gondolas going by right out the living room window. You can take a short walk up to catch the gondola to peak 7 or 8 off of the Breck connect. You can also walk back from the gondola. We were 2 families staying together and would LOVE to return asap!! It is equipped with everything you need in the kitchen including a crock pot. This is my favorite for having a hot meal ready when returning from skiing all day. The host was very responsive and helpful. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

The kitchen was fully stocked with all your cooking needs including crockpot and colander as well as pans silverware and dishwashing needs. It is located a five minute walk from the second stop on the gondola and a quick ride to the slopes. The garage was heated with ample space and the hot tub was perfect for posts skiing relaxation. I would highly recommend the spot.

Great Summer Stay

We loved sitting on the big porch and using the hot tub! It was a little warm in the upstairs bedroom (again, this is summer), but we opened the windows and it cooled down at night to make it comfortable. Location was wonderful, with hiking trails right out the front door, and a short walk to the Gondola. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a quick walk to the gondola with easy access to the mountain, or to town. The kitchen was well stocked with utinsels, pots, pans, appliances, etc. It was nice to have our own private hot tub with amazing views!One thing I will mention is that it is way hot in the house and you could not adjust the thermostats. We all had to sleep with windows cracked and we also had the patio door cracked to try and cool it down. Also, the first night/morning there was someone loudly shoveling at 5:30 am, which woke all of us up. Other than those two things, everything was wonderful and would stay again.

We were looking for a clean, safe place to rent in August during Covid. The Lodge at Cucumber Patch and River Ridge Rentals far exceeded our expectations. The house was extremely clean and additional sanitizing supplies were left for us. Instructions for operating various things (hot tub, garage, etc.) were easy to find and easy to follow. We had two very minor issues (shower door stuck and the patio door stuck) but both were resolved within 24 hours of our contacting RRR. Everything is done by text or phone and they constantly checked in to make sure everything was ok. They were flexible and accommodating and were the best rental company experience we have ever had. The house itself was very well stocked with more than the typical items for the kitchen. We will use River Ridge Rentals next time we head to Breck. It was a far better experience for us than renting a house directly from an owner on VRBO or AirBnB because it provided that extra level of service and peace of mind.

We had a group of 7 men stay in this house as a guys ski trip. It was perfect for what we needed. The home is quality built. The only issue we had is the door that goes out to the back deck is coming off of its hinges at the top. So, you had to wrestle it closed each time.

The management company was great too. We received about 20" of snow over the weekend and the front porch was shoveled out early every morning without request. thought river ridge rentals were very accommodating, helpful! My only negative was the place was very dry and we had to rent humidifiers, which I have not had to do with any other rental property I have stayed in near Breckenridge. Other than that excellent location, home had plenty of supplies and very well decorated.

The home is in a great location and we enjoyed it very much. There were a couple of issues when we arrived at the home. Those things happen but I have to say that River Ridge really stepped up and corrected the issues immediately. I would certainly rent this home or other homes from River Ridge in the future.

The home is in a great location and we enjoyed it very much. There were a couple of issues when we arrived at the home. Those things happen but I have to say that River Ridge really stepped up and corrected the issues immediately. I would certainly rent this home or other homes from River Ridge in the future.

Spring Break

The driveway leading to it was the only downside to this property as it requires awd or 4x4 but very doable. It would be nice if the Driveway was cleared like the streets but I know that’s private road.

A Great Thanksgiving Week with the Family!
Arrived on 2018-11-17 | Amy O.We had a wonderful stay for our Thanksgiving week! The kitchen was very well equipped with nice pots, pans and serving dishes, and great containers for the leftovers! They also had a 12 cup coffee pot and a bean grinder, and the hosts gave us some Starbucks coffee which was very nice! We had 6 adults, 3 children and 2 dogs, and we all stayed comfortably. The kids loved watching the gondolas outside the living room window, and we all loved that we could walk 3 blocks to get on free and ride downtown or up the mountain. The hot tub outside was a great way to relax at the end of the day. The grocery store is only 1 mile away which was also nice. Our only recommendation is to put a grab bar in the downstairs bathroom. We had an 84 year old that could navigate the steps....but wished there was a bar or skip strips in the tub. Overall, its an amazing place to stay!

You do need to prepare for a bit of a walk to the gondola with your equipment. We didn't mind this walk, but it is a factor in convenience. Breakenridge is a massive mountain and staying at 66 Cucumber Patch made our trip an unforgettable vacation!
First class - property and management team

We have stayed here - I think this was the 4th time in the past 4 years (maybe it's 5 times now). Always look forward to returning. First class property, and the management team is excellent - responds to every need before you arrive, and if anything at all comes up during your stay, no matter how minor, they are right on top of it. We stayed during the off-season in October, but it would be perfect any time of year. Close walk to town in the spring/summer/fall, and close walk to Gondola for skiing in the winter.

Arrived on 2015-07-31 | Mountain Bear 13 W.This is one of the best vacation homes we have stayed at - from the location, the furnishings and the amenities. The house is well furnished, clean, spacious and very comfortable beds. The house is well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, the bathroom (towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash) and the laundry. The house layout is great. It is over 3 levels. On the main level is a nice kitchen with an open plan living/dining area with comfortable lounges and plenty of seating at the dining table. Off this area is the deck which has a grill and hot tub. The hot tub takes up all of the deck - this would be nice in winter after a day of skiing but in summer it is a little shame that you can't sit out on the deck for an afternoon drink or have any meals there. Upstairs is the huge master bedroom and bathroom. Then downstairs are 3 big bedrooms - 1 bedroom has an ensuite, another bathroom and the laundry cupboard. The house has a large 2 car garage with internal entry. The location is perfect. It is about 200 yards from the gondola mid station so there is very easy access up to Peak 7 & 8 and down to the town. You could stay here and not need a car. The gondola cruises past the house but is no way invasive. The house is in a very quiet location - very few cars drive past and even less people so you get a very good night rest. This is a town home we would definitely stay in again. For summertime activities I would recommend the Vail Pass bike ride - great scenery and it is all downhill!!! If you want an extra workout ride back from Frisco to Breck. Go for a hiking at Spruce Creek/Mowhawk Lake trail - it is a 7 mile hike and is pretty strenuous due to the altitude but very worth it. If you are travelling with young kids (my were 4 & 2 yrs) then the free gondola is the greatest free entertainment around - we rode it every day and got to see a moose right under the gondola path!!!

One of our best vacations ever

The jacuzzi was amazing!We really loved the town, it was our first time in Breckenridge and definitely is not going to be our last. Beds are warm and comfortable, and bathrooms are really clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and is the perfect size. Gondolas were THE BEST! The view of the mountains, pines, birds, chipmunks, were wonderful!!
