Weekend Ski Trip

Property was amazing and accommodated our group perfectly. Everything was really easy and the space worked out really well for a weekend of skiing and also being able to take advantage of downtown Breckenridge. Unfortunately the hot tub was not in service for our visit, but I appreciated the outreach and the efforts the team made to navigate that. Overall a great trip and I'd book this place again and again.

We stayed here a few years ago and really enjoyed our time. Our recent stay was equally very good. The house is in a great location and close to town and shopping. Very well-equipped, comfortable and quiet. The staff at RRR is awesome. They are in frequent communication and will take care of any issues you might have. The house is also very clean. Great place for a large family. We had 7 in our group that accommodated us perfectly. While we enjoyed the entire property, the kitchen and living room area were our favorite. We did a lot of in house cooking…the kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and cooking equipment. Overall, a wonderful property which we will book again in the future! This was perfect for my husband and I and three college girls. We enjoyed the property and the kitchen was well stocked. We mostly cook during our stays. The property management company communicates well and sent reminders, and instructions via text, which I was appreciative of the additional instruction and messages.

Has a group of friends get together to enjoy all that Breckenridge had to offer. The layout of the house is really great for large groups. Plenty of everything (plates, silverware, glasses, etc.) I went to shred a block of cheese and there was even a food processor! We had a great time and the house was amazing. Highly recommend staying here if you're heading to the area.

Highly recommend this place for families wanting to stay somewhere to ski that has plenty of amenities, lots of space, beautiful views and clean. The property management was very prompt with their responses and helpful. The location did require the use of a shuttle and walking. The hot tub was perfect to help with relaxing after a day of skiing.

Kitchen had everything we needed, views were beautiful, shuttle bus picked us up at the end of the street (very short walk), family room on main floor had plenty of room and comfy furniture for relaxing and watching movies. All in all, it was great!

Perfect Mountain Ski Home

This is a beautiful home and perfect for a large family or couple of families wanting to spend time together in the mountains skiing. The home is very clean, well maintained and has a perfect layout- room to be together for meals a s games but with plenty of space to spread out. The main floor living room and kitchen area were super comfortable and have a great view. The location is within yards of the shuttle pick ups making it easy to enjoy downtown or the slopes. The property management was exceptional. The communication from them was the best we have experienced- timely and relevant. We would definitely stay here again!

We were a party of 10 and there was plenty of room to spread out. The view was spectacular and the location perfect. We did all things Colorado offers in the summer and came back to a perfect retreat at the end of the long day. The property is perfect, although the deck railing looked as though it needs a little attention. We hope to be back soon!

The house, the view, and even the rental company are a dream. We stayed at His High Place at the end of the season and were a bit worried that there wouldn’t be enough snow but boy were we wrong. The house and the view were spectacular from almost every room (both the front and the back of the house). It was so relaxing to come back from skiing and jump in the hot tub to relax and enjoy the view. Furthermore, it’s a great location that is close to town and anything you’d like to go to in Breckinridge. We also appreciated that they provided sleds, shovels, bikes as well as detergents, soaps, seasonings, etc. you literally just show up and you’re set. And to top it off, River Ridge Rentals was super responsive to all needs and checked in multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

This home was absolutely perfect for our family vacation to Breckenridge! Plenty of places to sleep, a very large living and dining space, and incredible views from right outside every door! Town was minutes away, yet this home is situated higher up in a beautiful neighborhood away from the busy streets below. The house was also stocked quite well with the basic necessary toiletries, dishes, utensils, etc for a more convenient stay. We had several adults, 3 young children, and an inant with us and all were happy with this rental! The hot tub outside was an added bonus to the luxury this home provides. The only struggle we encountered was the three car limit due to a shared driveway and no parking allowed on the street. For a house that accommodates so many people comfortably, it requires your vehicle to be full so that you all can be there. However, we made it work and truly enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous home! It was a nice added touch to see the many pictures of the owners family displayed as well. By the looks of it, their family has done many reunions/large family trips here as well and we were tempted to add our family picture to the collection! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Great property for families! We had 2 families with 7 kids total and there was plenty of room for everyone. There is a lot to do in Breckinridge and the property is close to town. There are amazing views of the mountains off all balconies & the many windows. Highly recommend this place!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is beautiful but you can tell it needs a little TLC. The house holds 18 guest but the mattresses on the pullouts both upstairs and downstairs are in terrible condition. You need to bring kitchen towels because the we had to use a washcloth from the bathroom. We had a nice time and definitely would stay again.

Overall, our experience in Breckenridge and with River Ridge Rentals was wonderful. They were very professional at every turn. I would like to point out a few things on the home itself. Positives - lots of space for a family to spread out if needed. Kitchen was very well-appointed, which made it easy to cook/grill. Couches in living room are very comfortable for lounging after a long day. Negatives - the Master BR faces west and gets very hot in the Summer. At night, you have to leave the exterior balcony door open to have any sense of cool air for the room. All of the carpeting (upstairs and downstairs) is tired and worn with some stains. The hot tub was not fully operational with some of the jets not working. Overall, our vacation was great and would use River Rentals again.

We had 13 people from 4 different parts of our family and we all had our own space and plenty of room to be together too! The rental management was super hospitable and very attentive to our needs. The home was very nice, comfortable, clean and had amazing views. I would say the only complaint (minor) was that we wish we were a little closer to the village. It’s not quite walkable in the winter.

We loved our stay! The rental agency even delivered a gift basket for my fathers birthday! The space was great for a large group, the views amazing and the hot tub very therapeutic. Our only wish was that it was ski in/ski out. But as long as you don’t mind taking the shuttle or driving to the village or gondola, everything is easily assessable.

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Breckenridge. His High Place was perfect for our family. Plenty of room for 17 of us plus a few extra for dinner. The view was amazing and it was so close to everything we wanted to do. His High Place had everything we needed and then some. Really appreciated having a fully stocked kitchen with all of the tools and appliance we could hope for. We loved playing games at the huge table and visiting by the fireplace. We had plenty of room to spread out. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub and we even grilled steaks one night. The Breckenridge Distillery is a must visit as well as the shops downtown. We would definitely recommend this vacation rental for a large family or group.

The house was beautiful, clean and perfect for two families vacationing together. Our childrens ages range between one and 11 and there was plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked with every type of utensil and appliance you could possibly need. The kitchen and living spaces were more than enough space to accommodate our families. We did have an issue with one of the downstairs toilet, and the property management team was very quick to respond. We were just a short drive to downtown, with plenty of places to eat and activities to do. One thing to note regarding one of the bunkbed sets. The top bunk did not have a guard rail that went above the mattress, and we didnt feel comfortable with one of our children sleeping on the top bunk because of that. The other bunkbed set did have a higher rail to keep someone from rolling off onto the floor. Just something to note in case you plan on having a child sleep on the top bunk. Maybe bring a guard rail for that. Also, I asked about a high chair and pack and play prior to our visit and the management team said they (the management team) did not supply those items. However, the house did in fact have a high chair, pack and play and several baby gates. Just FYI! The homeowners had those items in the closet. It was a wonderful place to stay and we would highly recommend it!

The pictures were spot on, the location is perfect. It truly was a very Beautiful property. The only thing was a wee bit scary was the outside deck the wood railing was not secure. It's an older property we just made sure that the little kids didn't play out there. Other than that it was a Beautiful place to stay and I would recommend this place.

We took our kids & grandkids for a week in Breckenridge....12 of us in all. We had plenty of room for the younger ones to play downstairs while the adults could relax on the main level. This duplex was very nicely decorated with rustic theme which was perfect for thie mountain setting. Beautiful views from the many balconies. Even had a mother moose with her baby resting under our balcony one morning. Well stocked with plenty of kitchen amenities, it was very clean and close to downtown.

We had such a great time staying at His High Place! The house was spotless and well-stocked. We had a minor issue with the hot tub not holding temperature, but a quick call to the property manager, and a technician was out within 2hrs to fix it. The queen pull-out sofa downstairs also had some issues, but we got by OK. The property manager was an absolute lifesaver in making sure the street and driveway was plowed prior to our 5am departure on the last day! The location is GREAT! A quick 10-minute drive to Main St, or take the free shuttle to a stop that is only 2 blocks away from Main St. I would avoid trying the ski-in/ski-out option on a powder day (like when we got nearly 3ft this past weekend), but otherwise, it's a quick walk thru the parking lot of Eagle's View where you'll pick up the Burro Trail, which connects into the Lower Lehman run (green). Would highly recommend!! Can't wait to come back next year ;)

A group of about 13 of us stayed here for a weekend ski trip. The house was perfect! Looks just like the pictures. Very clean and had all of the essentials. It's a short walk to a ski trail that leads to the Breck slopes and the shuttle service is just right down the road. Highly recommend for a large group outing!

I was enticed by the good reviews and was not disappointed. Our family of 10 (7 adults, 1 toddler and 2 boys) all had a great time in this spacious, lovely, clean and well-appointed rental. The property was the perfect backdrop for a once in a lifetime family gathering, which included a surprise wedding engagement! Our family loves to cook and the kitchen suited our needs perfectly (although from a food snob perspective, at least one cast iron pan and/pepper might be a nice addition, if that's feasible). Breathtaking views and plenty of spaces for people to do their own thing or hang together in the sunken leather couches, which were as comfy as they looked. The kids took over the basement with video games while the adults got to lounge upstairs. Both the hot tub and jacuzzi were clean and easy to use. Surprise bonus that there was an extra stroller for us to use, which totally came in handy. I can't think of much I'd improve upon, except for maybe upgrading some of the pull-out couches, since the mattresses for those were almost threadbare (as is generally the case with pull-out couches ;). Bonus points if some bikes were available to ride into town, but it was just as easy to walk a few blocks down the hill and catch the shuttle, which comes every 20 minutes. The rental company was extremely professional and helpful with everything we needed up until the day of the gathering. So many wonderful memories were made here. Thank you, His High Place, for delivering on everything you promised and helping make this the best vacation I've ever had :)

We had an amazing time in this spacious home. Great open living area that easily accommodated 15 of us (9 adults, 6 kids) and a very well appointed kitchen. The pullout beds were not useable and we would have preferred more pillows. A little further from downtown Breckenridge than we realised. Overall, a fantastic home.

Your beautiful home was perfect for our 3 generation family vacation. The main floor easily accommodated all of us. Being on a cul-de-sac was a bonus since our kids and grandkids brought their bicycles and scooters. Your home is beautifully decorated and we had everything we needed. The extra living spaces were a big help. The only concern was the stove.....maybe we just were not familiar with this particular brand.....but we would be using one burner and another burner kept clicking like it was trying to come on also even though it was turned off. Just so you know. Loved your home and your location and maybe someday we can come again.

The Best Views Around and Lots of Room

This home is in the perfect location! We stayed for a week in mid July and the views were stunning. You may not notice from the front but it's a duplex type of home. Nobody was staying in the other half while we were there. There is one garage for each side. From the front, you can see the beautiful view of the Breckenridge Ski area. From the back, you get a wonderful view of trees. Another family stayed with us and we had a total of 9 people. There was so much room! They aren't kidding when they say it sleeps 18. On the top level, basically there are two master bedrooms. One has a king size bed with private bathroom and the other has a queen size bed with attached bathroom that is a "Jack and Jill" bathroom and has a 2nd door exiting to the upstairs living area. Both rooms had their own deck. The upstairs living area is large and has a sleeper sofa. On the main level there is a large kitchen with plenty of seating. In addition to the huge dining table, there is a lot of counter space for people to sit at. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need to cook meals. There is even an ice maker in the freezer which was great. On the main level there is a powder bath. There is so much seating on the main level. The couches were very comfortable and there was tons of room for everyone. They even provide free Wifi! On the bottom level, there are two bedrooms and there was so much space for the kids. We had the boys in one room and the girls in the other. There is a shared bathroom downstairs as well as a large living area with sleeper sofa. On the bottom level balcony, there is a hot tub which everyone loved. Each level has its own balcony overlooking the great views! I would say the home is a bit far for walking into downtown Breckenridge but it was a quick drive. In the winter you'd definitely need four wheel drive to get up the snowy roads to the house. One of the nights the smoke detector battery was low and the smoke detector started beeping slowly. We called maintenance and they quickly came out to fix it the next day. You really can't go wrong with this house. I'm so glad we took the chance and rented this home. What a perfect summer vacation it turned out to be!

We had a wonderful vacation. The house was perfect! It was an ideal set up for 2 families vacationing together with 2 masters upstairs and additional bedrooms downstairs for the kids. The house was clean, had everything we needed, great location. We enjoyed watching the fireworks from the balconies and really enjoyed the views. We would definitely go back!

We came here to celebrate my mom's birthday and it has been one of the best birthday present/family trips ever! My mom was grateful for this home, it was very spacious, clean, warm and cozy. She was very happy to have her kids and grandkids under one roof again! Four families traveled from Missouri and Minnesota, and this townhouse accommodated 20 of us, 10 adults and 10 kiddies! Pictures are very accurate! This place was MORE than enough space, beds, room for activities, big kitchen, etc. All you have to bring are your clothes and groceries, everything else is provided! Thank you again for making this experience one of a kind...everything from the rental process to leaving Breckenridge!!! It was so hard to say goodbye.

We a had a great time. There was plenty of room for our large group to eat, sleep and hang out. It is close to Main Street and easy to get on the slopes from the location.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the townhome. There were mutliple gathering spaces should people within your group need to "get away". Also via some exploration we were able to find a hidden path through the trees which allowed us to ski in and ski out with a short walk! All in all, very highly recommended.

Place was great. Very big, everyone had room to sleep and sit comfortably. If your planning on cooking most thing you need are there, just have to get food and condiments. Location was good for us, pretty close to town. Overall everyone loved it and had a great time in Breck.

This house is non only beautiful, it is clean, well stocked, and affordable. The location is perfect. Not too close to the noise and action, but close enough you can get up and ski in minutes. We can't wait to come back and see what Breckenridge has to offer during the summer months.

My family and I came to Breckenridge for a 4 day get away and a mountain bike race and needed a place to stay. We were lucky enough to find the River Ridge Rental website and found His High Place. From start to finish we had a great experience. The communication was amazing, the house was a amazing and the entire process was amazing. I will be back to Breckenridge and I will back with River Ridge Rentals and His High Place. You can't go wrong.

Wide open floor plan made it a great place for our family to gather. The property has easy access by car to the base of peak 9. Ski out is good for an experienced skier, ski in is non-existent. The property was clean and well maintained. The management company was very accommodating. We loved the home and would absolutely stay there again.

This home is in a beautiful setting, is decorated perfectly and has great space! The rooms are all large and we found ourselves wanting to stay at the property more than going out because it was so comfortable to be there. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

Ive stayed here in the winter and summer and would never leave if I could. Its what a Colorado mountain house should be, log and stone, its beautiful! We have had up to four families with 10 kids stay here and there was plenty of room. One summer trip we saw two bears walk through the neighborhood, the kids thought it was great! The hot tub is great for after ski sore muscles and of course the kids love it too. I highly recommend it.
