Very Nice Home, great location!
Arrived on 2025-02-19 | February 19, 2025We were a party of 8 including two children and the home was perfect for us. The only knock is that there is a twin bed in the office/study but it is elevated with no safety rail, so don't count on using it. The pizza oven was a nice thing to have and the kitchen was very well stocked with every cooking appliance you may need. The steam shower and sauna plus the jacuzzi gave us plenty of options to enjoy relaxing after skiing. It's walking distance to the village but if you are skiing you will want to drive and park or take the shuttle which has a stop just across the street

Overall a great place! Had lots of amenities, up to date, and place was clean when we showed up. Only complaints, and minor ones, were the wifi password in the online guest handbook wasn’t correct. Password printed in the place was right. Ice maker didn’t work but could have been user error. And lastly, it would be nice if there were a snow removal company lined up for the driveway with the ability to coordinate with people staying there at the time. Other than those items, the place was great to stay at and would stay at again.

The property is conveniently located for access to shops, restaurants and activities. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly, courteous, and helpful. There was a minor issue with the operation of some equipment and a technician arrived to address it in very short order. Accomodations were fantastic. Our family had a wonderful time during our stay.

This house was phenomenal

The home was full of amazing bells and whistles, was very clean and all-inclusive. Loved the on-deck jacuzzi, double dishwashers, steam and sauna rooms, modern theater, pool table and more. We created forever memories there together in this beautiful home.

The house was perfect for hosting family members staying with us as well as having drop in visits from family renting/living in the area. There was plenty of space for eating, playing games and watching TV/movies. A few glitches with some of the equipment were fixed promptly by the River Ridge Rentals staff.

We rented the chalet for 6 days for a nephew's wedding. 3 of our grown sons, wives and one grandbaby joined us. The accommodations were great! The only disappointing item was a coffee grinder which was more of a food processor. Everything else was great.. steam room-the best, sauna-wonderful. We spent a great deal of time outside by the gas fireplace. Location was walking distance to the village and not far from exceptional hiking trails.

The location was our number one concern, the shuttle stop is less than 100 feet from the house and runs every twenty minutes to the base of the gondola.If you want to walk to the base of the gondola? Just a 10-20 minute walk along a maintained sidewalk (there was 40 inches of snow our weekend, sidewalk was still usable).The only time we left the house was to hit the slopes. The kitchen was great, the hot tub, pool table, sauna, steam showers, every thing was perfect for a group ski trip.

The Alders Chalet home was welcoming, clean, and full of amenities (hot tub & pizza oven were huge hits with the family). There is easy access to the slopes, whether dropping someone off at the gondola or taking the bus which comes to the corner by the house. We ended up cooking each night and loved the large kitchen and dining area. There were a few appliances that were tricky to figure out without instructions (expresso, steam room, lighting the stove).

The house has every comfort and more welcoming than one can expect. After a day on the slopes we had choices of a hit sauna or a dip in the hot tub. The kitchen has every utensil that one can imagen. The pizza oven was a great hit for us and the specialty coffee maker made some of my family members giddy. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The media room was a hut along side the billiard and ping pong table. Great place for my family to spend quality time together after a great day skiing. The bus stop is across the street from the house or you can walk and tajes 8 minutes to the the lift. We will come back to this home away from home.

My family and I decided to plan a last minute trip to the mountains and River Ridge Rentals we extremely helpful with the process. They made check-in super easy and had great information about the property and the area in their mobile app for us. They even checked in with us during our stay, which really made us feel good. We had one minor issue and a maintenance tech was there within the hour. We'll be planning a trip to the mountains annually and will only use River Ridge Rentals going forward! Thank you!

High end house

Activities from playing pool, hot tubbing, movies in the theater room, steam room, and music thru the house by the fireplaces. The master suite and shower are incredible. This house is a definite revisit by our group.
